Divya Khurana

Assistant Professor (Grade – II)
  • Ph.D. (Mathematics), IIT Kanpur, 2016

Dr. Divya Khurana received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, IIT Kanpur. Her Ph.D. research work was mainly aimed at studying complemented subspaces of some classical Banach spaces. She has a few years of postdoctoral research experience from ISI Kolkata, NISER Bhubaneswar, Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, and IISc Bangalore. She joined the Humanities and Applied Sciences area at IIM Ranchi in March 2022. Her research interests are greedy-type approximation algorithms and geometry of normed linear spaces. Currently, she is working on a few problems related to various notions of orthogonality in normed linear spaces.
