Background:
Jharkhand region has several large public as well as private sector undertakings that are in need of managerial skill for up-gradation of their employees. Apart from nationalized banks, media houses and even the state government employees are looking for opportunities to academic qualifications from IIM Ranchi.
In today’s competitive environment, every manager should have a good understanding of finance, accounting, economics, markets, competitiveness, quality and productivity. They should also have a good understanding of what works and otherwise in their business. If an organization has to succeed, people at all levels should feel passionate about their business and also innovate and continuously improve the processes, products and technologies. Hence they also need to understand human psychology to motivate people to perform at their peak levels. This programe will address all these issue and make the participants more effective in their jobs and help them become leaders in their domains.
Objectives:
The program will enable the participants to
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of management and major functions
- Learn analytical approaches to problem solving and objective managerial decision making
- Enhance managerial and leadership skills
Specialization:
We propose to offer specializations in Finance, HRM, Marketing and Operations.
Eligibility:
Candidates with a minimum of 5 (five) years of managerial experience are eligible. The selection will be based on academic performance, quality of work experience and the performance of the short-listed candidates in the personal interview.
